POSITIVE IMPACTS
Can Tabs and Plastic Caps
- Every liter collected can be exchanged for wheelchairs or help social projects.
- They prevent soil and water contamination with microplastics.
- They reduce the volume of non-recycled waste in landfills.
Sulfite Paper
- Saving 1 ton of recycled paper avoids cutting up to 20 trees and saves over 26,000 liters of water.
- MAC has already recycled over 91 tons since 2023—this is equivalent to preserving approximately 1,800 trees!
Batteries and Energy
- Each incorrectly discarded battery can contaminate up to 20,000 liters of water.
- We have already avoided the contamination of over 7 million liters of water, thanks to correct collection.
